Equipment Racks are typically referred to as the 'Head-End'. All the wires for the entire house or commercial office space are wired back to the 'Head-End'.
We will typically reserve with the Electrician a Couple Circuits Isolated to the 'Head-End'.
What will be installed in the 'Equipment Rack"? The Network Devices such as the Router, Switch(s), the Whole Home or Office Processor, the Audio Matrix and Amplification, the Family Room A/V Receiver, The Home Theater A/V Receiver, The Many Sources like Apple TV's, Rogers Boxes wired securely to the equipment fastened to the 'Equipment Rack'. We try to ask for time to make the wiring neat and labeled so we can manage the equipment in a timely fashion in the event of equipment malfunctioning.
